Marie “Rhea” Walls Hilbourn, 78, of North Myrtle Beach and formerly of Fair Bluff, NC, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning, April 8, 2025 at her residence.
Rhea was born October 29, 1946 to the late L.J. Walls and Nettie Cook Walls. She was the widow of Jimmy Larry “Big Jim” Hilbourn. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Jean Register, Edward Kay, and Edna Ruth Barfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn with burial to follow in the Meares Cemetery in Fair Bluff.
The visitation will be from 3:00-3:45 prior to the service on Thursday.
Rhea leaves behind her son, Jimmy Larry Hilbourn, II and his wife, Christa of the Beaverdam community; grandson, Jackson Hilbourn; granddaughter, Kelsey Hilbourn; special niece, Regina Nickison.
