Four black males allegedly stole a Kawasaki motorcycle from another man during a robbery in Whiteville Thursday.
Whiteville Police reported that the victim was contacted by an alleged buyer for the Kawasaki 450, and agree to meet the buyer in front of Dollar Tree in the Columbus Corners shopping center. In the course of the sale, Tyrone Blaken, 29, was robbed, the report said. The suspects were described as four black men, who allegedly took the $6,500 motorcycle and fled.
Neither the buyer nor the seller were from Whiteville, WPD said. The investigation is continuing.
