Here’s today’s Bottom Line:

High pressure will provide another unseasonably chilly day, but it won’t be nearly as breezy today as the nor’easter is a memory. Expect abundant sunshine about the area with highs a degree or two either side of 50.

Clouds will gradually increase tonight through Wednesday ahead of our next frontal system. A southerly flow becomes established and we’ll be much milder… lows tonight will only drop to the mid 30s, while highs on Wednesday reach the lower 60s.

Most of Thursday should remain dry ahead of a frontal boundary… but some of the guidance is suggesting that a bit of rain moves in later in the afternoon. The better bet is overnight Thursday night through about lunchtime Friday, as seen by the European deterministic here…

I believe this looks worse than it will really be … but it’s a good bet that we’ll get a decent shot of rain in here Thursday night into Friday.

Some of the ensembles hint at rain chances extending into Friday night and perhaps Saturday. I’m not jumping on board quite yet, but future forecast updates may include some rain into Saturday.

It’s also going to be warm with springlike temperatures extending into the weekend.
