The 16th annual Southern Farm Days is underway through Sunday at the Boys and Girls Home Horse Complex at Lake Waccamaw.
While events kicked off today (Friday), Saturday is the biggest and busiest day at the yearly event.
Admission is $10, which children 11 and under and active duty service members admitted free.
Friday’s Parade of Power is considered a dress rehearsal for Saturday’s parade, which will feature tractors, heavy equipment and farm implements that are in some cases more than 100 years old.
There are also demonstrations at the homestead, a petting zoo, mule drawn plowing demonstrations, the antique auction and swap shop, and more.
Hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.
