Investigators are trying to determine why a Crusoe Island Road man died in his home Saturday.
George Joseph Kowall III, 43, was found deceased in his home in the 2000 block of Crusoe Island Road, the sheriff’s office reported. Deputies and EMS were called at 8:10 a.m. EMS confirmed the victim’s passing, the report said.
A preliminary investigation showed no signs of foul play, according to the sheriff’s office, but since natural causes were not ruled on at the scene, the investigation is continuing.
