Area tennis teams are heading into the playoffs.
In 3-A action on Monday, #18 seed West Bladen (0-10) will travel to Southeastern Conference foe #15 seed South Columbus (2-8). The Stallions won both matches against the Knights this season. The winner will face #2 seed Greene Central (13-4) on April 29.
Also, in the 3A bracket, Whiteville received a sixth seed. They received a first round bye and will host Louisburg Magnet (5-6) on Wednesday April 29.
Louisburg Magnet received a first round bye as well. In the 2A bracket, #9 seed East Bladen (6-3) received a bye in the first round. They will travel to #8 Rosewood (9-10) on Wednesday. Rosewood also got a first round bye.
