The suspect in a home invasion also faces narcotics charges, according to warrants.
Sheldon Glen Patrick, 59, was arrested Aug. 20 on charges of discharging a firearm in a home to incite fear; to counts each of kidnapping and breaking and entering to terrorize or injure; assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine; maintaining a dwelling for drug activities; and possession of a firearm by a felon. Court documents show his address as 130 Jacobs Lane.
Warrants show that on Aug. 19, Jacobs allegedly broke into a neighbor’s home and fired at least one shot from a 9mm handgun into a bedroom door, threatening two women in the home. He then held them against their will. When he was later arrested at his home, Jacobs allegedly had a 9mm SCCY handgun, 1.73 grams of meth, and drug paraphernalia.
Jacobs was prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm because of a 2004 conviction on felony breaking and entering charges.
Neither victim was hurt in the incident.
