The lockdown at East Bladen High School has been lifted according to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office.
BCSO said in a press release that the school was secured earlier today “following a potential issue involving a student and an off=campus boyfriend.
“At this time there appears to be no threat to the school or students.”
School is being dismissed on a normal schedule today (Sept. 4).
Additional deputies will be on campus during dismissal “to help ensure the safety of students and staff.”
