An employee at the Whiteville Walmart was transported to Columbus Regional after she was allegedly assaulted with a car Sunday. Whiteville Police reported that the woman was outside the store at 200 Columbus Corners when the suspect assaulted the victim and fled the scene. An unlicensed motorcyclist was jailed on multiple charges after apparently passing out in downtown Whiteville. Charles Jerome Faulk, 39, of 3130 Hallsboro Road South, was arrested July 15. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, no motorcycle endorsement, no registration, and no insurance, according to court documents. He was initially held under no bond. The call was dispatched around 10:34 a.m....
