Developing story A woman and child were killed in a collision near Fair Bluff today (July 11). The N.C. State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. One person was reported airlifted from the crash, which occurred around 11 a.m. This is a developing story. We have reached out the NCSHP for more information.

The suspect in multiple break-ins was arrested after a traffic stop July 9. Reports show that Jessie Levern Dudley, 60, was held under no bond.
