Columbus Regional halted visitation in the Emergency Department today (Saturday) due to increasing numbers of patients.
Hospital spokeswoman Stephanie Miller said there is a critical need to provide beds for patient care in the ED.
The hospital recently reduced visitation to one per day for most patients.
Every visitor will be screened before entering the facility, and masks are required at all times.
