Reward offered in Chadbourn triple murder case

Broadway Road was blocked while investigators secured the scene of a triple slaying in Chadbourn July 3.

Governor Roy Cooper has announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the gunmen who killed three people in Chadbourn July 3. Xavier Sadler, Mack Jenkins, and Kameesha Powell were shot to death and Ordashia McFadden injured in the early morning attack at the Bando nightclub.

On Saturday, July 3, Chadbourn Police Department responded to a call at the parking lot of the Bando nightclub at 228 Broadway Road, Chadbourn. Upon arrival, De’onde Qwabe Xavier Sadler and Mack Darren Jenkins, Jr., were found lying on the ground, deceased from gunshot wounds. 

While on the scene, Chadbourn Police Officers were advised of additional gunshot victims being arrived Columbus Regional Medical Center. Kameesha Dae’zuhnaka Powell succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The fourth gunshot victim, Ordashia Zhane McFadden survived her injuries.
