Barbara Ann Hall Cartret, age 76 of the Cribbtown Community in Chadbourn, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Barbara was born on November 12, 1945, in Bladen County, to the late Gordon Worth and Annie Bell Simmons Hall. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy “Dot” Bunnells, Gordon “Dink” Hall, Jr., and Gary Hall, and a grandchild, Luke Allen.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor John Beattie and Reverend Mitchell Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Hinson Cemetery, Beaverdam.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45, prior to the service.
Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband, Mitchell Wayne Cartret of the home; children, Crystal C. Johnson (Allen) of Little River, Lorrie Ann Carteret (Ronald) of Chadbourn, Richard “Ricky” Lynn Watson (Sandra) of Tarheel, Mark Watson of Tarheel; siblings, Bertha “Tenny” Blackwell (Norman) of Cerro Gordo, Calvin C. Hall (Tammy) of Bladenboro; grandchildren, Alley, A.J., Taylor, Zack, Brandon, Josh, Dylan, Stephanie, and Amy; great-grandchildren, Rylyn, Cannon, Kylee, Brently, Colton, Gavin, Connor and Chloe.
