Tabor City Police have charged a man with having sex with an underage girl.
David Oryan Eckert III, 31, of Tabor City, was arrested Thursday (March 10) on one count each of indecent liberties with a minor and statutory sex offense. He was placed under $200,000 secured bond, according to jail reports. Floyd’s warrant and booking information contained different addresses.
The warrant states that Eckert had sexual relations with the teenaged victim at least twice.
The investigation is continuing.
