Alice Faye Butler, age 80, of Whiteville, NC died Monday, May 23, 2022 in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare’s Angel House, Whiteville, NC. She was born July 22, 1941 in Columbus County, NC to the late James Franklin and Doshie Jane Sellers Pope.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Faye Benton and her husband, Benji of Whiteville, NC; her son, Ricky Dale Butler of Whiteville, NC; her brother, Ervin Pope and his wife Martha Ray of Maggie Valley, NC; her grandchildren, Jason Nealey, Dale Butler, Alexis Butler, Brandon Butler, Brittney Butler, Courtney Faulk, Erica Blackwell and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Butler, her daughter, Brenda Blackwell; her grandson, Kyle Butler and her great-grandson, Nicky Butler.
Her visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Peacock Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM in Peacock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rockwell Cemetery, Love Mill Rd. Whiteville, NC.
