Deputies have arrested a Clarkton area man for allegedly raping a child in August.
Christopher Bryson Hickman, 42, of 1140 Tart Rd., Clarkton, was charged with statutory rape by an adult and statutory sex offense with a child. His bond was set at $200,000.
The sheriff’s office reported that the alleged incident occurred in August. The victim is between seven and twelve years of age.
