Charles Allen Lewis, Jr. age 74 of Bolton, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, in the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.
Charles was born on July 17, 1949, son of the late Charles Allen Lewis, Sr. and Irene Shaw Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Brett Lewis and Toby Lewis; siblings, Joe Lewis, Eddie Lewis, Dianne Williford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Union Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Family Cemetery in Bolton.
The visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service at the church.
Charles was a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps.
The surviving family includes his former wife, Belinda Green Lewis; children, Charles Allen “Chuck” Lewis, III, Mandy Brown (Steven), Tim Lewis (Tiffany), Keith Lewis (Jessica), all of Bolton; grandchildren, Kevin Lewis (Ashley), Brianna Aguilar (Alex), Dakota Lewis (Kayla), Andrea Brown, Drew Brown, Sarah Meadows, Chase Lewis, Justin Lewis, Leigha Reaves, Karson Lewis, Ensley Lewis, Avery Lewis; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Lewis of Bolton.
