Kevin was born on September 12, 1950, son of the late Frances Aloysius Byrne and Francis Nellie Byrne.
The surviving family includes his wife, Carol Sue Tallett Byrne of Lumberton; children, Cristel Ann Fern Giglio (Bill) of Vermont, Juliana Byrne of New York; siblings, Helena Byrne, Jack Byrne, both of South Carolina, Rebecca B. Florcyzk of Maryland; step-children, Marla McKnight (George) of Rowland, NC, Missy Moore of Nashville, TN, Mindy Moore of Nashville, TN, Matthew Moore of Calabash, NC; grandchildren, Thom Byrne, Tony Grinaldi, Josef Byrne, Ryan Byrne, Kiera Moore, Leah Moore, Kag McKnight.
