Linda Faye Miller Edwards, 72 of Chadbourn, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Lower CapeFear Lifecare Center in Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steven Nobles officiating. Interment will follow in the Boardman Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born on March 30, 1952, to the late Tommy John Miller and Clara Louise Griffin Miller. Linda was the widow of Jessie Murle Edwards who preceded her in 2006 and also was preceded in death by two siblings, Joseph “Joe” Miller and Gilbert Miller.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa E. Nelson (Brian) of Whiteville; a son, Jason Edwards of Chadbourn; siblings, Sandra Conner of Whiteville, Dennis “Tony” Miller (Sue) of Whiteville, Steve Miller of Whiteville, David Miller (Rhonda) of Wallace, Randy Miller (Mary) of Fairmont, Ann M. Patterson (Odell) of Leland, Jan Lane (Ricky) of Latta, SC and Sherry M. Edwards of Whiteville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two special nephews, A.J. Patterson and Robert Patterson.
