A man is recovering after he was shot through the leg near Tabor City Friday.
Deputies were called to 15 Ying Lane around 3:30 a.m. to a disturbance, sheriff’s reports said. While they were en route, the call was changed to a shooting.
Deputies arrived to find Nigel Davon Mason, 22, on the ground with a gunshot wound to the leg. No one on the scene could describe the shooter or where the shots came from, the report said.
Mason was transported to Loris McLeod Hospital. His condition was not available.
The investigation is continuing.
