Wanda Faye Gaskins Graves, age 73 of the Cedar Grove Community in Cerro Gordo, entered into her Heavenly home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House in Whiteville, NC.
Wanda was born on September 30, 1950, daughter of the late D.J. Gaskins and Ruth Dale Prince Gaskins. In addition, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Mitchell Graves; her son, Johnny Michael Graves, and her brother, and Johnny Prince.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Jeff Stocks officiating. Interment will follow in the Graves Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Worthington Funeral Home.
Survivors two children, Becky Graves Russ and husband, Steven, of Cerro Gordo, Kevin Graves and wife, Alicia, of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Miranda Cloer (Jamie), Jared Russ (Summer), Aaron Graves (Amber), Alyssa Hall (Cory), Haiden Graves; great-grandchildren, Ansley Cloer, Emma Graves, Jayce Graves, McKenleigh Hall, Camden Cloer; siblings, Pam Norris, Sarah Norris, Debbie Byrd, Ellen Fowler, Margie Causey, Joy Hutcheson.
