A Whiteville woman is recovering after she was allegedly stabbed multiple times during a fight with another woman.
Shaquana Lynee Willis, 32, was held under no bond. She is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, and assault with a. deadly weapon with intent to kill. Her address was listed as 400 Lewis St., Whiteville in court documents.
Whiteville Police responded to a call about an assault at 316-A Burkhead Street just before 9.m. Friday, a report said. Shaketha Gaddy, 44, had been stabbed several times with a kitchen knife. She was transported to Columbus Regional with non-life threatening injuries, Lt. Scott Moody said.
Willis was out on bond on other charges at the time, Moody said, so that bond was revoked and she was held until a court hearing.
