A simple drug possession case became much more complicated when a Bolton-area woman allegedly refused to cooperate with deputies.

Barbara Lynn Sessions, 45, was charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, two counts of resisting an officer, and two counts of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $1,000. Sessions address was listed on warrants as 6338 Old Lake Rd., Bolton.

The sheriff’s office reported that  deputies stopped Sessions at the intersection of Money Hole Road and Old Lake Road just after 8 p.m. Wednesday. She allegedly refused to exit her vehicle, and gave deputies a false name.

During a subsequent search, deputies found a small quantity of marijuana and approximately 6.3 grams of powdered cocaine.
