An Ammon resident and a Raleigh man are missing in Bladen County.
James Cole Nicholas, 37, was seen on video surveillance in Garner early Sunday. His car was found abandoned at N.C. 87 and Airport Road near Elizabethtown Monday morning. The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office said a security camera caught Nicholas entering a wooded area near his vehicle around 7:20 a.m. Sunday.
Nicholas was wearing dark shorts, possibly brown or black, and a red shirt. He is in need of medication, the BCSO said.
William Lowry was last seen walking near his home on F.L. McDaniel Road near Ammon Aug. 24, the BCSO said. Lowry was wearing jeans and a white T shirt. He is a bald white male, with a gray, sandy-colored beard.
