Carrie Moore Marvin, age 83, of Bolton (Buckhead), North Carolina, passed away Monday morning, January 20, 2025, at her residence.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, William Richard Marvin (Sonya) of Riegelwood, John Allen Marvin (April) of Winnabow; two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara Jane Adkins of Colorado Springs, and Kimberly Marvin Moore (Milton) of Lake Waccamaw; 14 grandchildren;, 19 great grandchildren; and one adopted sister, Lorrie Moore of Buckhead; one sister-in-law, Mable Moore; one brother-in-law, Napoleon Webb. She also leaves behind a host of family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William Franklin Marvin, otherwise known as Bill; two daughters, Vonda Kay Marvin and Carrie Ann Marvin Butler, one son-in-law, Lonnie Dale Butler; one grandson, William Glen Marvin; one special granddaughter Maddie Marvin; three brothers, Genora, Boyd and Willie Pearson Moore; and two sisters, Gladys Moore and Pauline Webb.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 with the visitation from 2:00pm – 3:00pm and service immediately following at Peacock Funeral Home.
