Douglas Dayton Williamson, age 83 of Tabor City, went to be with his Lord on Friday evening, April 18, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on August 27, 1941, to the late Reuben Marion Williamson and Cora Emma Suggs Williamson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Yvonne McKeithan Williamson; a daughter, Linda Ann W. Reaves; a great-grandchild, Jasmine Soles and seven siblings, Elma Housand, James Marion Williamson, Robert M. Williamson, Catherine Long, Lloyd Williamson, Ottis Williamson and Lonnie Williamson.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Johnson of Tabor City, Rebecca Williamson of Loris, SC and Amy W. Bullard of Tabor City; a sister, Alice W. Fogle of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Jessica Tyler, John Tyler, Justin Turbeville and Eli Harsh; and two great-grandchildren Savannah Soles and Jeremy Tyler.
