Ireyhanna Sinkler was jailed Friday after leading law enforcement from four agencies on a chase from Whiteville to Evergreen. Sinker allegedly fled a traffic stop by Whiteville Police, heading through Chadbourn to Evergreen, then back to Chadbourn. Sinkler’s passenger, Malik Wilder, was wanted for the April 13 shooting at Functionz in Whiteville.

 

Drug and traffic charges sent a Clarkton area man to jail Wednesday after he led police and deputies on a high speed chase.
Willie Graham, 19, of 1200 Quill Moore Rd., Clarkton was held under $11,000 secured bond.

 

A fugitive was arrested Thursday despite hiding behind a rack of clothes at an Evergreen home. Dustin Long was wanted for possessing explicit images of a minor, and had evaded arrest by hiding at Sheila Todd’s home. She allegedly told deputies that Long was not at the home. Todd was charged with harboring a fugitive, and Long was held under $301,500 secured bond for indecent liberties, resisting an officer and failure to appear.
