A Whiteville area man is being held under no bond on multiple charges of statutory sex offense and child sexual abuse.
Brenton Allen Britt, 36, is being held on no bond. He is charged with four counts of second degree forcible sex offense of a child; four counts indecent liberties with a child; four counts statutory sex offense, and three counts of first degree statutory sex offense. His address was listed on court documents as 174 Hudson Dr., Whiteville.
Britt is alleged to have forced a nine-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him, while performing a sex act on the girl. He is also alleged to have attempted to vaginally and anally penetrate the girl, according to warrants.
Britt was processed into the county detention center at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday, a short time after Zackery and Brittany Pratt were taken into custody. The Pratts are also charged with felony child abuse involving a sexual act with a nine-year-old girl. (See related story)

Britt is due back in court in September.
