Two men have been jailed under no bond for the January slaying of a China Grove teenager.

Armani Darrell Mason, 27, 34 Fredrick Britt Rd., Bladenboro, and Tony Larrell Mason, 20, address not available, are being held without bond on charges of murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, according to court records.
The are alleged to have fired multiple rounds into a home and a vehicle at 2013 Old Stake Road shortly before midnight on Jan. 22. Autumn Spivey died at the scene.
Miss Spivey was in a bedroom in the home, and was the only person struck. Deputies arrived on the scene within minutes, and performed first aid until EMS arrived. She was pronounced dead at the home.
Relatives said Miss Spivey was temporarily staying with her great aunt and others at the home. Law enforcement said she was not the intended target of the shooters.
Sheriff’s Office reports show a vehicle was reported struck by gunfire at the address on a previous occasion, but that case was determined to be unfounded.
Miss Spivey’s Uncle Billy Hood said the family is relieved that the suspects are in custody, but the case isn’t over yet.
