A gunfight near Green Acres left one man injured Tuesday.
Dalvin Smith, 21, of Tabor City was shot in the neck, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office. Smith was taken to Loris Hospital.
The shooting occurred around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Kenny Jordan and Green Acres roads on Swamp Fox Highway. Three individuals with a rifle allegedly shot Smith.
The sheriff’s office blocked off the area for several hours collecting evidence. Witnesses said a number of shell casings were found in the roadway.
Smith provided no description of his alleged assailants.
