Someone dumped a large bag of used diapers in the 6200 block Ramsey Ford Road over the weekend, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The trash bag of diapers in the same area where other diapers have been dumped before. Cleanup of illegal dumping almost always falls on the nearest landowner, unless it is a specific hazard to traffic. The Department of Transportation nor the county typically remove illegal trash. If a suspect can be located, the responsible individual is often forced to remove the mess.
Illegal dumping is a recurring problem in the county, with furniture, household garbage, appliances and even dead animals being unloaded along isolated rural roads.
