Shooter Sought in East End

Deputies are searching for a female suspect who may have fired a shot during a disturbance in Riegelwood Friday.

Deputies were called to Mookie Lane around 7:40 p.m., the report said. The caller to 911 reported that a woman driving a green vehicle was involved in a verbal altercation after she had allegedly been driving recklessly in the area.

During the confrontation, a single shot was fired, but the report did not specify who fired the shot. Deputies recovered a single 9mm shell casing at the scene.

No one was injured, and the investigation is continuing.
