Mobile Argument Ends with Arrest

An argument on the road ended up with a Bolton man facing charges after he allegedly resisted deputies while impaired and trespassing.

Berryon Baulkman, 41, of 87 14th St, Bolton, was charged with second degree trespassing, resisting an officer and to counts of assault on a public official, according to Detention center reports. His bond was set at $150,000, then dropped to $25,000 after a first appearance.

Baulkman and a woman were reportedly arguing in a vehicle on U.S. 74  Saturday when they pulled in at the Sun-Do in Boardman around 4:15 p.m. The argument continued at the gas station, the report said.

“The male subject showed signs of impairment and was advised he would not be allowed to operate the vehicle,” the report said. The business manager also asked that Baulkman be banned from the station and the vehicle removed.

“Baulkman refused to leave the property and became combative with deputies when they attempted to remove him from the vehicle,” the report said. He was finally taken into custody, and transported to the County Detention Center.
