At Land O’ Lakes, the SFGA held its weekly tournament at Timberlake Golf Course at Clinton on April 21. The tournament was a Texas scramble format using the best two scores with 26 players in the event.
The teams of Linwood Hedgepeth/Michael Pait and Steve Hancock/Paul Stanley/Terry Blackburn tied for first with scores of 118 while the team of Wilber Simmons/John Blake/David Medlin/ and Ken Shaw took second place with a score of 121. The next SFGA tournament will be on April 28 at Land O’ Lakes. Other events happening at Land O’ Lakes are:

At Vineyard at White Lake, Mike Chuchaz, Hayden Munn, Blake Davis, and Taylor King won the weekly Thundering Herd with a -6 score. 16 players participated in the event

At Vineland of Whiteville, every Thursday the course has Nine-Hole Twilight Tournament that starts at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $18 for members and $21 for non-members.
