Happy FRIDAY!! A dry day with slightly cooler temps and less humidity!! We’ll take it!
A cold front has pushed south of the area and an area of high pressure will push down from the north. This area of high pressure is weak but I can almost (almost) guarantee a completely rain-free day today. Lots of sunshine with highs in the 80s.
We’re going to enjoy below normal temperatures well into next week. We should be around the 90-degree mark but that’s not going to happen again for a while.
There is a lot of model disagreement on moisture return on Saturday as the front tries to nudge back to the north (closer to our area). But that becomes moot once a second cold front sweeps across the area Saturday afternoon, likely bringing a round of showers and thunderstorms.
Dry weather returns on Sunday before a weak disturbance ripples through on Monday, followed by dry weather into the middle of next week. Again, temps will be in the lower 80s by day and around 60 by night… much below the normal values for the first few days of June. In all honesty… I’m not complaining.
