Here’s today’s Bottom Line
This morning’s report will be rather short-and-sweet as there’s not much to talk about in the weather department.
Strong ridging high pressure just south of us will bring dry weather and seasonably hot temps through the weekend. Make sure you’re using the sunscreen and staying well hydrated if you have outdoor plans as the UV index goes off the top of the chart. The summer solstice is early Sunday morning and so the sun will be at the strongest/highest level in the sky for the entire year this weekend.
At the surface this coming week, a weak little “front” pushes through the area and then stalls just to our south. This will be the spark that aids in at least isolated afternoon storm development with otherwise mostly sunny skies and seasonable temps through the work week.
Tropics are quiet at this time.
