Heavy winds damaged Galloway Farms Maze Craze Friday, toppled trees at Lake Waccamaw and elsewhere, and dropped from three to seven inches of rain across the county.
An event venue at Galloway Farms was knocked down, and the top of a grain silo thrown into a tree.
Street flooding was reported in Chadbourn, and around 1,600 people were left without power.
CCN Meteorologist Christopher Cawley said his College Street weather station collected 3.22 inches of rain during the storm. Roughly the same amount was recorded in Hallsboro and Tabor City. Backyard gauges in other parts of the county recorded seven inches.
