Updated 4:35 p.m. Raymond Timothy “Chinaman” Warren is back in the custody, the Dept. of Corrections reported late this afternoon. He was captured in Forsyth County, a short distance from the prison, according to a press release. Warren  has connections to Columbus and was thought to be heading this way, authorities said. He was taken into custody by the DAC and State Bureau of Investigation.

The suspects in a string of larcenies in the eastern end of the county were arrested July 20, according to the sheriff’s office. An admitted impaired driver allegedly fought with deputies at a checkpoint in Western Columbus July 21. The sheriff’s office said Robert Harold Tyler, 57, was charged with driving while impaired, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for drug activities, littering hazardous waste, destroying evidence, paraphernalia, littering, resisting an officer, driving while license revoked, no registration, and no insurance.
