One of Columbus County’s K9 teams successfully located a missing man at Lake Waccamaw Saturday.  The 65-year-old disappeared from a campsite at the state park just after sunset, Chief Deputy Aaron herring of the sheriff’s office said. An overturned Mercedes Benz with “multiple” bullet holes was found in a ditch near Whiteville Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle also had suspected narcotics inside.
