We are beyond blessed to represent the greater Tabor City area.
This past Thursday, we had the privilege of holding a Ribbon Cutting/Open House w/Tour event of 5 Star Farm which is located at 3315 S.C. 746, Loris, just across the state line.
5 Star Farm’s owners and staff have been working hard and have some really amazing animals and other exciting things for the young and the young at heart. We hope you will make plans to take the kids/grandkids out for a visit. Admission prices are very reasonable.
Our first official day of summer begins tomorrow. With summer comes Independence Day and fireworks!
We hope you are making plans to join us for the 37th Annual Columbus County Fireworks Celebration on Tuesday, July 2 at South Columbus High School. “Let Freedom Ring” with an evening of entertainment, concessions, and fireworks Call the chamber for more information.
Don’t forget to save the date of Saturday, Sept. 14 for the Heroes’ Cruise In and barbecue cookoff. We’ll close out the event just after dark with a nighttime parade. It’s all about honoring our everyday heroes. All fire, rescue, LEOs, and first responders are invited to participate. For more details, just give us a call.
The Yam Fest Souvenir Tee Shirts are selling fast. They are a beautiful “Sweet Tater’” orange this year. Stop by the Tabor City Library Monday – Friday, 9-5, to get yours.
While you’re there, take a peek at our sweet potatoes growing in the raised bed planters. The vines are looking good so we are hoping for a banner crop this year.
