‘Missing’ Man Arrested with Drugs

Deputies responding to a suspicious vehicle call found a man who was reported missing hours before – and arrested him.

Jarred Randall Little, 24, was held under a secured bond of $8,500 on charges of drug and paraphernalia possession, trespassing, and two counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle. He listed a Willard address on jail reports.

The sheriff’s office reported that during the early morning hours of March 8, someone filed a missing persons report about Little. He was reportedly driving a Ford Explorer with a trailer.

At 8 a.m., deputies were dispatched to 668 Byrdville Freeman Road to investigate a suspicious vehicle, which matched the description of Little’s SUV. Deputies found the Ford with a loaded trailer attached, but Little was not around the Ford, the report said. The Ford had tags from another vehicle, the report said.

Deputies began searching the property, and found Little in a nearby van that had been left unlocked.

In Little’s SUV, the report said deputies found a glass pipe with white crystal residue, Buprenorphine, Metoprolol Succinate, and two catalytic converters.

Little was taken into custody and his vehicle towed.
