Deputies are investigating after a woman was reported shot on Wright Road near Tabor City Friday morning.
Taniya Bellamy, 24, sustained at least one gunshot wound, according to reports. The incident occurred at 3935 Wright Road.
She was transported for medical treatment but discharged from an area hospital before detectives could contact her.
The case is under investigation.
