It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Southern 77 of Whiteville, NC, who departed this life on May 02, 2025. She will be dearly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
Mary Ella Southern was born on May 22nd, 1947 to the late Flossie Mae Braddy, Urise George Boykins in Rowland, North Carolina and John Braddy.
Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories; one son, Billy Southern of the home. Two brothers; George Southern and Jerry Braddy of Whiteville, North Carolina. Three Sisters; Liza (Sharmon) Tolson of Whiteville, North Carolina. Mary Hill and Martha Williams of Maxton, North Carolina. One Sister In-Law; Earlene Southern of Whiteville, North Carolina. Two Grandsons; Corri (Tameka ) Jackson of Richmond, Virginia and Jamon (Doris) Jackson of Whiteville, North Carolina. Three Granddaughters; Erica Southern of Lumberton, North Carolina. Donnisha (James) Jones of Raeford, North Carolina. Jessica (Anthony) Thomas of Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Two Great-Grandsons; Jaden Southern of Lumberton, North Carolina and James Jones III of Raeford, North Carolina. Three Great-Granddaughters; Comayah Jackson of Whiteville, North Carolina, Asja Gause and Indiya Jones of Raeford, North Carolina. One Aunt; Margaret Graham of Rowland, NC.
Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery in Whiteville.
