No one was injured when three thieves got away with $7,700 in an armed robbery Friday.
The sheriff’s office reported that deputies were called to the home at 1225 Fertilizer Road around 6:28 p.m. Three masked men reportedly entered the property and brandished a handgun and a rifle, demanding money.
Michael Moore, 61, and Frieson Wilson Jr., 60, told the bandits that they didn’t have anything, at which point the men accosted Towanna Neal and took the cash.
The incident is under investigation.
