The 2024 Pecan Music Festival

The Pecan Music Festival is this Saturday November 2nd from 10am to 6pm in Downtown Whiteville. Presented by Whiteville Downtown Development, the festival has something for the whole family. There will not only be live music by three great bands, but there will be a Beer Garden in the Alley off South Madison Street, and the 4th Annual Open Car & Truck Car Show hosted by Classic Cruisers. For the kids there will be Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Kiddie Ball Pit, a Petting Zoo, and more. If you get hungry, you’ll find a variety of Food Venders all day in the Vineland Storage Parking Lot. Also, there will be plenty of Business and Craft Venders who will be lining South Madison Street between Main and Pecan Streets.

Julio & The Saltines – 11am – 1pm

South Carolina’s ultimate party band, Julio & the Saltines provides ultra-high quality live entertainment to every crowd they encounter. This five-piece group based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has chalked up thousands of performances throughout the last decade. Armed with the best equipment and repertoire, Julio & the Saltines will have you singing and dancing from start to finish.

THOMAS ROAD BAND – 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Established in 2019, Thomas Road is the leading country music act in the Carolinas. Based out of Myrtle Beach, SC and lead by singer Seth Thomas, the group is about bringing a high-octane Country music sound. With influences ranging from Bluegrass all the way to Rock n Roll, their strong harmonies and Carolina Country Music Association nominated rhythm section will deliver an entertaining show and night of music. Thomas Road is eager and excited to bring their show to your town.

Southside Saints – 4pm – 6pm

Some fantastic stuff happened when three of the most talented and well-known musicians spent ten months quarantining and preparing themselves to bring you the VERY BEST of musical entertainment. With collectively over 90 years of professionally playing and perfecting their craft, this dynamic trio guarantees to blow you away. This musical journey promises to take you back in time when music was good and life was great.
