Whiteville Police arrested two men on multiple charges of breaking and entering vehicles.
Casey Latrail Wilder, 18, and Justin Alexzander Stroud, 21, are being held under secured bonds. They face charges of breaking, entering and theft from motor vehicles, larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny of a firearm and attempted breaking and entering, according to detention center records.
Whiteville Police Chief Paul Rockenbach said investigators used Flock cameras to track the stolen vehicle to Elizabethtown, where the suspects were arrested with the assistance of Elizabethtown Police and the Bladen Sheriff’s Office.
Most of the thefts occurred Aug. 13.
Whiteville Police urged residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables earlier this week.
