WHITE LAKE—Johnathan Gooden won this week’s Showdown at Sundown tournament with a record -8 Tuesday at Goldston’s Putt-Putt Course. Jason Brattain claimed second place at -4.
Stephanie Gooden took the women’s bracket in a first hole playoff against her sister Heather Hays. Both ladies shot a +2 to force the playoff.
Next week’s event will take place at 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 8. The tournament will be 36-hole event and the final of the season.
