2nd Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo * Horry Co. SC

FISHING FRIDAY PREVIEW: JOIN US SEPT. 28, 2024

Community kids and their families are invited to attend #HCPD’s second annual youth fishing rodeo on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.

The event is free to join and open to ages 5 to 15, accompanied by an adult.

The first hour of the event, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. will be sensory friendly and accessible. Music will be turned down, wheelchair ramp will be available, helping hands will be available, and attendance will be lower.

General admission for the event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Attendees are asked to bring their own equipment and bait to keep the fun going.

The event will take place at 177 Environmental Parkway, located off of International Drive close to SC Highway 90.

Food and drink will be available for purchase on site.

Come out and make a family day out of it!

Even those who don’t know how to fish are welcome! There will be plenty of others on-site to help kids learn how to fish safely.
