Adoptable at Columbus Humane Society in Whiteville

Introducing JAX!

JAX is a young 1 year old hand raised, bottle fed baby💗 and the only one to survive his litter. He has been neutered and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.Litter box trained, but he needs a tall box or one with a cover, because he will sort of throw litter everywhere when he’s finished. JAX gets along very well with most dogs (small – medium size ones preferably) and he loves children as well, especially when they baby him.

He lives with a foster who doesn’t have other cats, so JAX hasn’t had a lot of experience with them. He would probably do fine after an adjustment period and will need a little time to adjust to a new environment as well. JAX will offer you many years with lots of love. Introducing OREO!

OREO

Here is Oreo, she is a 1 year old spayed tuxedo female, with almost perfect tuxedo markings. Oreo was nursed back to health as a somewhat feral kitten. She is a playful, curious and bold young lady who likes her food a little too much and could use to lose a pound!

Right now she stays separate from her foster mom’s other cats in a spare bedroom she shares with Trixie (also picture). Trixie and Oreo get along very well and are BONDED. If you or someone you know is looking to adopt two cats, this is a great option and is encouraged.

TRIXIE

Because of her semi feral beginnings, she still struggles a little when picked up and is nervous on a lap, but she loves people and wants to be cuddled, she would thrive in a some that understands this. OREO doesn’t have any experience with dogs or children and will need sometime to adjust to her new home. Adopt BOTH TRIXIE AND OREO, Their foster mom will split the fees! That foster mom rocks!!

This is Maya!💖

Meet MAYA (Pet ID #5164) a female Doberman, diluted black and rust coat with docked tail and floppy ears. MAYA is believed to be ~2-3 years old, unknown if she has been previously spayed, she hasn’t a tattoo or visible scar and no microchip.

MAYA found her way to the shelter as a stray around two weeks ago, Her owner has never came forward to reclaim.

She is very sweet, energetic, and loving as Dobie’s are to their people, and the shelter caretakers have become that…however Maya needs a home that will give her a life she deserves.

Will MAYA’s Got’cha 💗Day be this week?
