This Christmas, Fort Caswell invites you to experience the beauty and wonder of the season with our annual Light of the World Community Drive-through event.
Taking place December 2nd-22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm each night, this event is a joyful celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and a reminder of the hope and light He brings to the world.
On the nights of December 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th, the heart of the drive-through display will be our Live Nativity scene, where actors bring to life the story of the Holy Family. Guests will see Mary and Joseph as they arrive in Bethlehem, surrounded by humble shepherds and guided by the Star of Bethlehem that led wise men to the newborn Jesus. This portrayal of the Nativity invites guests to pause and remember the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of Jesus Christ, who came to bring salvation, peace, and hope to all.
The entire campus will be brightly lit and decorated, creating an atmosphere that is both joyful and peaceful. Each display reminds us of God’s love and the gift of His Son, born to be the Light of the World. The scenic drive-through experience is designed for families, groups, and individuals to take in the Christmas story from the comfort and safety of their cars.
Fort Caswell kindly requests that guests remain in their vehicles throughout the event to ensure everyone’s safety and to preserve a quiet, reflective atmosphere. While this event is free to attend, donations are appreciated and will go toward helping Fort Caswell continue sharing this meaningful celebration with the community for years to come.
